RISE 144 took place on December 18, 2020, at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. In the main event, Yuya scored an extension-round knockdown to defeat So Midorikawa by decision. In the semifinal, Kazuma knocked out Taison Maeguchi in the third round. In an upset, Suzuka Tabuchi dropped Manazo Kobayashi en route to a decision win.
